What Yard Stylist is:  an owner-operated landscape consulting and design company located in Central New York 

My Mission:  to be a good steward of the earth by helping people beautify their yards with ecologically sound advice and designs, and by promoting organic gardening and conservation of natural resources, thereby conserving and creating more greenspace. 

What I do:  answer gardening questions about maintenance and problem areas; counsel homeowners on the best plant choices for their yard; create designs for newly built homes; completely redesign yards; design containers and vegetable gardens

Who would enjoy my services:  new home owners; gardeners; do-it-yourselfers with maintenance questions; anyone who wants a new design for their yard, containers, or vegetable gardens; anyone looking for alternatives to using chemicals in their yard 

How I am different from garden centers and landscaping companies:  I have the freedom to choose which plants will work the best for your yard and conditions rather than restricting the designs to just nursery stock.  For small scale projects, I can do the installation or for larger jobs, I can refer you to people that I trust. You also have the freedom to work with the nursery or installer of your choice or install the plants yourself.  This gives you options which allow you to work at the pace of your budget or time.
